Weekly Recap (Back From Vacation!)

So it must be a little obvious by now thanks to my part in hosting the Mocha Memoirs Press's Fall Into Horror promotion to support fellow indie horror authors, but I'm back from vacation! I had an absolutely amazing time, as you can see from below:

Temple of Zeus in Athens.
Black Sand Beach.
The city of Oia from the postcards.
Erechtheion temple on the Acropolis.
Outside Buckingham Palace.
Notre Dame Cathedral.
Hall of Mirrors in Versailles Palace.
The Eiffel Tower.
Napoleon's Apartments in the Louvre.
There are more photos on my Instagram page, but honestly guys, it would take me hours to describe the places I saw and the things I learned. Europe is a must destination for everyone, especially if you're a history/mythology buff like me. I got more inspiration than I know what to do with!

While I spent the majority of the time on tours and experiencing each city, I did manage to get some writing in. Here's what I finished.

• Complete Trick of the Gods
• Complete Beta edits for Crimson Sky
• Begin edits for  Obsidian Sky
• Enjoy my vacation!

Not on the list above is the beginning of the second Areios Brothers novel, Hunt of the Gods, and the plot work I did for my upcoming standalone novel for NaNoWriMo. I have to tweak the story and build the world/weapons/powers/monsters, and I might change the title, but I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I should have more details and possibly a brief synopsis to share in October. Now that I'm jumping back into the grind, aka Real Life, here's what I want to get done this week:

• Continue Hunt of the Gods
• Write and post Blood Moon 17
• Edit Trick of the Gods

Definitely a lot of work to be done in the next little while! October will be a busy month, so we'll see how much I get done as fall gets under way. Really looking forward to all these projects! Remember that the Fall Into Horror promotion will continue until October 2, and you have the chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card! Cheers!
